About Whistling Wolf
Whistling Wolf is an independent singer, guitarist and producer from Cape Town, South Africa.
He has just emerged Out of The Shadows (hence the name for his debut EP release). Music was always a hobby for the man behind Whistling Wolf and something he did behind closed doors when alone. In 2025, he decided to record and release his debut EP in the hope of reaching an audience of listeners who can relate to the rawness and depth of his lyrics and signature melodies- inspired by his personal struggles and experiences with addiction, mental illness and the pursuit of recovery.
A truly authentic and relatable artist, pouring his heart out to the world with every song he releases. He hopes this new chapter can help listeners with similar struggles and, in the process, help himself.
Wolf On The Streets
Wolf On The Streets is a project that I thought of when I impulsively quit my job to pursue music. The idea is to go around multiple locations in Cape Town (global tour coming soon) and set up my equipment to perform for listeners in person and online via my stream. It’s a way for me to entertain, make some money to pay my bills and grow my listener base because I am a complete unknown right now.
